Days of Praise ~ Avi HaRachamim ~ Father of Mercies

Exodus 34:5-6 "And the LORD passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The LORD the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in goodness and truth." (See Nehemiah 9:17)

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NAS) "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; Who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

The Mercy of the LORD

  • It is your good pleasure, great joy and delight to show mercy!
  • You are rich and full of mercy!
  • Your mercy is displayed from Genesis to Revelation.
  • When we repent, we will receive your total mercy.
  • When we boldly approach your throne, we receive mercy and grace in time of need.
  • Your mercies are new every morning.
  • You have compassion for the lost.
  • You saved us because of your mercy, through Jesus Christ.
  • The Ark of the Testimony is your meeting place, and your mercy seat represents your divine presence and mercy.
  • Your mercy is always available to us.

Your instructions regarding our mercy...

  • Our mercy should always be available to others.
  • If we withhold mercy, even though they may be undeserving, you will withhold it from us until you are satisfied that we have shown it to others.
  • We will show our appreciation of your mercy by extending it to others!
  • As you have comforted us, we will comfort others.
  • Help us to delight, as you do, in showing your mercy!
  • We ask for your mercy.
  • We hope in your mercy.
  • We wait for your mercy.
  • We trust in your mercy.
  • We will be merciful.
  • We will reap mercy.

Father of Mercies, we recognize, honor, praise and worship you for your amazing mercy!
