As a group leader at New Life Church, I have spent the last 8 years developing a Bible Study called "Encountering the Names of God."

It is vital for us to know and understand God. One of the best ways to accomplish this is to study who He is and why He revealed Himself. It gives us His perspective on how to view Him, as well as how to view ourselves. It equips us for the challenges of life. Knowing who God is before the challenges come can be very helpful!

This blog is an Invitation from the Holy Spirit to go deeper in the most important and intimate relationship you will ever have...Your relationship with The Triune God.
Our lives are all about trusting God, and this blog will bring you to a new level of trust and intimacy with God.

The wealth of knowledge to be gained on this amazing subject is vast, limitless, and fascinating, and the opportunities that the Holy Spirit provides for revelation and transformation are life-changing!

We will grow in our knowledge, understanding, appreciation and love for God, learn who we are in Christ, and the important concepts that are involved in each one of His names.

Studying and meditating on scripture brings revelation and transformation into the image of Christ.

I will be posting my summaries and personal applications of each of the following Names of GOD:

  2. Yahweh is not Elohim, Elohim is the plural form of El which means god, so Elohim means gods and not creator. And Yahweh is not a god He is our Heavenly Father. Thank you
