Days of Praise ~ Yahweh Gmolah

Foundation Scripture: Jeremiah 51:56  Because the spoiler has come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompenses shall surely requite.

Jehovah Gmolah, We praise you, the LORD God of Recompense, for you hold all people accountable, and you punish and reward accordingly!

• You are the God who makes things right. 
• Your judgments are just and based on righteousness. 
• You are the only one qualified to judge. 
• You punish sinful wickedness to the full – to the death – you are slow to anger – a God of justice who punishes and rewards according to what has been done. 
• You bring restoration in every way imaginable! 
• You deal with our enemies if we have released them to you. 
• You declare and establish our innocence.
• You will not count our sin against us. 
• You restore us when we need it.
• You restore what has been stolen! 
• Vengeance is yours alone. 
• You are a jealous and vengeful God. 
• You repay the righteous and the unrighteous. 
• Nothing goes unnoticed. 
• There is no favoritism, all will be repaid for what they have done. 

You instruct us in righteousness.

• We will be forgiving and desire restoration in relationships.
• We can expect your response to all we think, say and do. 
• We will not judge or condemn but be merciful. 
• We will forgive others 70X7. 
• We will be trustworthy, live at peace, and overcome evil with good. 
• You deal with us according to our righteousness.
• Our behavior affects the blessings of our future family. 

You reward the righteous!

• Jesus will reward everyone according to what they’ve done. 
• We will diligently seek you, looking ahead to our full reward.
• We are rewarded for even the smallest things! 
• You reward fully and richly!
• You will award us the crown of righteousness.
• If we love our enemies and are merciful, like you are, our reward will be great! 
• When we bless those who can’t repay us you said you will repay and reward us. 
• You have told us to be eager to do good, rejoice at insults, be discreet when blessing others and our father will reward us. 
• Rewards don’t motivate us…Your love motivates us! 
• Temporal rewards are great, but you are our shield and very great eternal reward. 
• Your righteousness is our reward. 
• You even restore the years the locusts have eaten! 
• We truly can take joy in trials and tribulations, knowing you know all and reward accurately and justly. 
• We are blessed when people insult and persecute us because of Christ. 
• We rejoice and are glad because our reward is great in heaven! 
• We love to diligently seek you, and you reward us for it! 
• Knowing and loving you, and knowing that you know and love us is truly the best reward we will ever have.

Vengeance is Yours…..Period. 

"Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.  Romans 12:19 (See Deuteronomy 32:35)

"For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," and again, "The Lord will judge his people." It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Hebrews 10:30-31

At times, it seems the guilty go unpunished, but that is not true. 
So it also seems that your chosen ones aren’t always vindicated – but you say they are. 

If we truly trust you, we have no excuse or desire to hold grudges or seek revenge against someone who has wronged us. We have no need for it! 

As much as we would like to be the judge sometimes, it is a good thing that we are not! We don’t see the full picture. It is your job to avenge, not ours! 

We trust you and praise you for making situations right in our lives! 

Days of Praise ~ Yahweh Tsidkenu ~ The LORD Our Righteousness

“The days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The LORD our Righteousness…This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the LORD. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” Jeremiah 23:5-6

We praise the LORD our Righteousness!

• Only God is completely righteous, because he is holy.
• Only God can make us righteous.
• God's righteousness is flawless, unlimited, everlasting and unfailing.   
• God’s throne is built on righteousness and justice. 
• God reigns with wisdom, justice, righteousness and peace. 
• God is righteous in all of his ways and loving toward all he has made. 
• God delights in peace, wisdom, salvation, safety, justice, love and faithfulness, grace, compassion, truth, eternal glory, kindness, the gospel, faith, true and just judgments and more!
• You fulfilled your gracious promise to bring forth a Righteous branch from the Messianic line of King David.
• Our Savior and King will be the only one to ever rule in complete and perfect righteousness!

You made us to be righteous like you.

• Our righteousness is like filthy rags.
• We cannot make ourselves righteous. 
• God knew we could never make ourselves righteous on our own, so he made a way for us to be righteous. 
• Because Jesus Christ died for our sins and because we believe he did so, by faith, we are clothed in his robe of righteousness, making us acceptable to God. 
• We are now in right standing with God…it is as if we had never sinned.
• Our righteousness comes from God through faith in Jesus to all who believe. 
• We are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Jesus Christ. Through Christ’s obedience we were made righteous. 
• God made his sinless Son, who knew no sin, to be sin for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. 
• Jesus Christ, the Righteous One, is the atoning sacrifice for our sin.
• We have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! 
• Without the sacrifice Christ made, we would not be able to approach God. 
• The gospel reveals a righteousness from God that is by faith. 
• The just shall live by faith. 
• We are justified by faith.

We trust in your righteousness alone! 

• Because Jesus died for our sins, and because we believe this by faith, we have his righteousness, which makes us acceptable in his sight. 
• You have placed us in right standing with You.  
• When we miss the mark, we will repent, be forgiven, and are righteous before you. 
• You have made provision for our righteousness through your Son.

We look at the best of mankind and sometimes dare to think they do not sin! We can try our very best to be righteous on our own and it just does not work. We will always fall short! Trying to make ourselves righteous is like taking a shower with a filthy washcloth. Something in us wants to clean ourselves up before we come to you. Since our righteousness is like a filthy rag, this will not work! We must just come to you as we are and let you clean us up.

• If we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 
• We can totally trust you and accept any action you take toward us or anyone because you judge with perfect justice and wisdom.
• We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Anything good in us is from God.
•  Since we are heirs to the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ, are we not equipped with everything we need to do anything you ask of us?!!!

Your instructions for the righteous:

Although you have made us righteous, and we cannot attain righteousness on our own, we are instructed on how to live righteously and expected to be obedient as we are conformed to your image. 

• Since you are righteous, we must obey your commands. 
• We must be obedient to your instructions on righteousness.  
• You require us to act justly, love mercy and to walk humbly with you.
• We will sow for ourselves righteousness.
• We will pursue righteousness.
• Righteousness is our ruler.
• When the first things we seek are your kingdom and your righteousness, all things are added to us.

Many are the blessings of the righteous! 

• You surround the righteous with your favor like a shield.
• You guide us in paths of righteousness.
• The steps of the righteous are ordered of the LORD.
• You see the righteous, hear their cry and uphold them.
• You deliver the righteous from all their troubles.
• The righteous are not forsaken.
• The righteous are glad when they are avenged.
• We are secure in your righteous judgment.
• You take the righteous into your confidence.
• Your blessings crown the head of the righteous.
• You will award us the crown of righteousness.
• The memory of the righteous will be a blessing.
• You will grant the righteous their desire.
• The righteous give generously. Prosperity is their reward.
• The righteous will possess the land forever.
• When we desire righteousness we will be fulfilled.
• In you we have righteousness and strength.
• We have been given the breastplate of righteousness.
• Because of your righteousness, our mouths are a fountain of life, our lips nourish many.
• The righteous will stand firm forever.
• The righteous are as bold as a lion.
• We will shine like the sun in the kingdom of our Father.
• We are heirs to the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ.
• The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much. 
• The righteous cry out and the LORD hears them and delivers them from ALL of their troubles.

Yahweh Tsidkenu, We praise you for you alone are righteous, and you alone can make us righteous! Our righteousness allows us to have fellowship with you and be transformed more into your image. Make us more like you every day!

Days of Praise ~ Esh Oklah ~ Consuming Fire

“Be careful not to forget the covenant of the LORD your God that he made with you; do not make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything the LORD your God has forbidden. For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.” Deuteronomy 4:24

Esh Oklah, We praise you because you are a Consuming Fire!

You reveal yourself through images of fire. Part of your holiness is your wrath – a consuming fire – yet you also lovingly reveal yourself as a wall of fire to protect, deliver your people and destroy enemies. 

Your refining fire consumes the sin out of us and you baptize us with your Spirit and with the fire of your love! This amazing process perfects us and conforms us to your image! We have something to live for because we have something to die for! Let our fire for you grow stronger every day!

We praise you through the trials!

• We praise you for your refining fire that perfects us! 
• You refine us by your standard of holiness and righteousness. 
• We need to have the right attitude when trials come. 
• Trials come to prove our faith genuine, which is worth more than gold, and may result in joy and honor. 
• These trials develop perseverance so we can be mature, complete, and lacking in nothing.
• We will consider trials pure joy.

We praise you for your amazing love!

• You are the definition of love. 
• You draw your people with your lovingkindness. 
• No man has greater love than Jesus, who laid down his life for us. This is love – not that we loved you, but that you loved us and sent your Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 
• You proved your love for us on the cross.
• You made us alive in Christ when we were dead. 
• You have poured out your love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom you have given us. 
• If we love you, we will obey you! 
• We praise you that you exult over us with singing! 
• Nothing can ever separate this love! 

We are ready for more!

• Empower us to grasp and know your love. 
• Fill us with your fullness. 
• It is a privilege and an honor to be called your children!  
• We will trust and obey you. 
• Burn out the sin and burn in your fiery love. 
• We will be aglow and burning with your Spirit!
